What LipoSerine™ Is

Phosphatidylserine (PS) is a phospholipid that constitutes 5–10% of total membrane lipid in eukaryotic cells, with particularly high enrichment in neuronal membranes. LipoSerine™ is a 20% PS powder based on phosphatidylserine. The result is a stable powder suited to capsule, tablet, beverage, and gummy applications.

Mechanism

PS is integral to the normal structural and functional behavior of cell membranes — affecting membrane fluidity, receptor density, and signaling-protein localization. In neurons, PS supports synaptic vesicle function and neurotransmitter release. PS also plays a defined biological role in cell-membrane remodeling and apoptotic signaling, with growing literature on its contribution to normal cortisol regulation under physical and psychological stress.
