To give our customers a high standard of quality control for the raw materials and ingredients that they purchase, GCI developed the Quality Maximization Program (Q-Max). This program gives our customers the quality control assurance that they are looking for…and more.
Q-Max Protocols
In the Q-Max Program, all raw materials are quarantined and thoroughly examined for quality criteria at each container station before export. Each container station has access to a full-fledged analytical testing laboratory that samples and tests every ingredient that arrives at the station. Each ingredient batch undergoes assessment/testing against specifications for organoleptic parameters (color, etc.), potency, identification, and purity (heavy metals, microbiologicals, etc.).
Q-Max Test Results
When independent tests indicate that an ingredient has failed one or more potency or purity specification, the product ingredient is removed from the container station. When a lot of a particular ingredient passes all specifications, a Q-Max Seal is affixed to the drums in the lot. Only those ingredients with a Q-Max Seal are dispatched to our customers with third party test certificates. With the Q-Max system, our customers will not have to retest ingredients and suppliers will be registered and approved by bio-terrorism authorities.
